MONTGOMERY COUNTY HOUSING MARKET KEEPS STEADY AS OTHER MARKETS STRUGGLE. Despite national reports of a real estate slump, "We in Montgomery county have chosen not to participate". Home buyers and sellers in Montgomery county are fairing much better than those in other parts of the country. The most recent economic and market watch report from TREND indicated that real estate in Montgomery county continues to offer wealth building and lifestyle enhancing opportunities.
I feel that as housing prices in the area have continued accelerating since 2001 this area will continue to see sustainable price increases. There is NO REASON TO THINK Montgomery county will behave any differently in the forseeable future.
The Average price of a home in Montgomery county is up 6.7 % from 326,900 to 348,000 over the last six months of 2007. On average homes in Montgomery county sold faster in 2007 than did in the majority of other counties in the Tri-State region.
Some suggest that this thriving Tri-County Region has real estate which is severely under valued. Of the 24,443 home sales during the year, the highest prices home sold for $9,950,000 and the lowest price home sold for $9,000.
The Average length of time on the market for a home in Montgomery county has been steadily decreasing from 68 days in the first quarter of 2007 to 57 days in the third quarter of 2007. Montgomery county has experienced a reduction of inventory levels of 12.5 percent from just the second quarter 2007 to the third quarter of 2007 This reduction indicates that people are buying real estate, which is helping to balance the supply and demand ratio.

About Me
Growing up and currently residing in the area offers me a well-versed understanding of the region at large. I am from the Boyertown area, born and raised in Pine Forge. As a youngster I was very active in extra-curricular activities such as boy scouts, baseball, and football. I attended Drexel University as a young man, where I studied commerce and engineering. Currently, I enjoying living in Royersford. My interests are travel, boating, mountainbiking, racing, scuba diving, and walking my German Shepherd Dakota in the community. I also enjoy designing and remodeling homes. I take great pleasure in selling Real Estate, as it is both encouraging and rewarding. Finding the perfect home for my customers motivates me immensely.
